Gemma Capocci
Counselling & Psychotherapy

Hello, I’m Gemma. I specialise in supporting mothers struggling with their mental health, including issues relating to childhood trauma, loss of identity and feelings of failure.

Thanks so much for visiting this page. I know how much courage it takes to even consider counselling, so well done for getting this far.

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am a warm, empathic individual who believes wholeheartedly in the power of connection. My priority is to bring my true self to therapy and create a safe, non-judgmental space where trust can develop, and a healing therapeutic relationship can grow.

What I do

In therapy, one size doesn’t fit all. As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I have been trained in several different modalities (styles of therapy, such as psychodynamic, person centred and CBT), which means I have access to a range of tools and techniques that can help support each unique person.

I believe therapy works best when it is a collaborative process, so together we will set goals and decide upon the best approach, for you.

Just because no one can heal or do the inner work for you, doesn’t mean you can, should or need to do it alone.

Get in touch

I offer a free 20-minute introduction call or online meeting where we can discuss what is bringing you to therapy, your expectations and explore whether we’re a good fit for one another.
